As a photographer, I’m often out at events where I’m setting up a tripod or monopod that accepts a quick release shoe that is mounted on either the bottom of the camera or on the bottom of a telephoto lens. On occasion, these quick release plates need tightening and when this need arrises, I’m out on location – not in my office. That’s where my Swiss+Tech pocket tool comes in. This thing is simply gorgeous to behold. It’s compact and fits on my keyring. It folds up so that when it’s in my pocket, I’m not getting poked. The finish on the metal is awesome – it’s smoothly polished – not sharp edges. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve pulled this out to use it and people say, “Whoa. That’s awesome! Where did you get that thing?” What’s surprising is that it is so cheap – about $10.
