Danish designer and fellow geek, Mads Miltersen, decided that the problem of tangled earbud cords was not being solved in a manner to which he was satisfied, so he designed a new way of keeping the cord managed that accommodates the remote switch on Apple’s official earbuds. It’s a very well-thought-out design that keeps the detangler with you at all times and it’s very light weight. All the other cord detangler gizmos I’ve tried have a problem with twisting the cord, extra bits hanging on the ends, and a random issue with the microphone. Miltersen has thought out these issues with a well measured out design that seems to address all the issues we end up having with these infernal knots we try to make phone calls with. OTM Technologies has just launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund production of its innovative input device pen.
