This new Kickstarter project by Elago delivers an elegant charging stand (you supply the cable and power) that uses an acoustic chamber to amplify your music or podcasts. It is beautifully designed and looks like something Apple would use in their retail stores to display their products. I know – I used to work at the Apple Store for nearly 5 years – they’re pretty anal about how they display stuff and the Elago acoustic amplifier would definitely make the aesthetic cut. Their Kickstarter campaign has less than a week to go, so spread the word so this awesome little acoustic speaker can make its funding goal. Elago is on Facebook and on Twitter.
Geek Out on This Einstein Font
There are just 3 days left on this Kickstarter campaign – where you can own a font that embodies the handwriting of Albert Einstein. German designer Harald Geisler and PhD physics student, Elizabeth Waterhouse have been diligently examining samples of Einstein’s writing to develop a beautiful geek-worthy font to honor the famous physicist.
This Harald Geisler’s second font project. He previously ran another successful Kickstarter campaign developing the handwriting font of Sigmund Freud. These folks know what they’re doing. The font is going to be pretty cool.
These font designers have put countless hours into the working font and need another few months of perfecting it so that it has a completely natural look when typed. For just $15, you can get this font as your very own. There are only 3 days left in this Kickstarter campaign, so if you want the handwriting of one of the most famous minds of the twentieth century, and to get some geek street cred, check it out before the window of opportunity closes. You can follow the campaign on Twitter.
