World’s Most Compact Electric Bike Goes 12.5 mph

bike2This cool Kickstarter campaign funds an electric bike that you pedal with minimal effort and it weighs only about 26 lbs, making it super portable. It folds and unfolds very easily – and in about 10 seconds. The brilliant design utilizes a detachable, easy to carry battery that charges in just 2.5 hours.

While it’s not designed for taking off-road, this is the ultimate city bike. Despite the diminutive size of the wheels, it is designed for an adult frame.

The bike’s sensors automatically detect a slow-down, such as when you’re making an effort to go up a hill, and the electric motor kicks in, no sweat.

The Kickstarter campaign for the A-Bike still has about 3 weeks to go and has already met its funding.

Need to Mock Up a New Website? This SAAS Might Be the Help You Need

moqlogoI found this Software As A Service (SAAS), Moqups and thought I’d share it with my geek readers. It lets individuals or even teams come together with ideas that are easy to mock-up for website flow. It takes flow charts to a new level.

Sadly, they do not have a free version, but they do let you try out the service before you make the plunge. Considering how much time (and time is money) this system can save you in developing a new site, it is relatively inexpensive… with plans at just $9/mo.

Created strictly in HTML5, no special plugins are required to use the site, but Moqups does have an extension to Chrome available to further its functionality. 🙂

The video below shows a bit how it works. If you’re into web development and having to work with a team, or you need a website developed and want to be able to communicate your vision with your developers, this is a tool worth examining.
