Connect your Smartphone to Your Car, Even if it Doesn’t Have AUX or Bluetooth!

iclever3If your car doesn’t have an AUX port, or like me – you’ve got an older AUX port that no longer works, there’s a gadget for that! Remember those old iPod gizmos that tuned into your radio? Well, those old thangs just grew up! The iClever F-33 Wireless Bluetooth FM Transmitter with Car Charger is a beautifully designed device that has overwhelmingly good reviews on Amazon and it let’s you connect your phone (phone calls, Pandora, iTunes, Podcasts, etc.) to your car stereo via Bluetooth – even if your car doesn’t have Bluetooth and even if you don’t have an AUX port or if your AUX port is all worn out.

Additionally, you don’t lose a charging port in the process! This plugs into your cigarette lighter adapter port, and still has an open USB port for you to use to power your phone. The iClever F-33 connects to your phone via Bluetooth, while taking your BT signal and sending it via low power radio transmission to an unoccupied frequency on your radio. You do need to have a working FM radio for this set up to work, but that’s it… well, except you’ll also need an unoccupied FM station. Easy in most places nowadays, but a bit of a challenge in giant cities like Los Angeles.

Phantom-Drone-2Have you ever thought about how cool it would be to have a DJI Phantom 2 Drone with GoPro Hero 4 to film your dog catching a frisbee or to document some other cool project you’re working on? Or maybe you’ve got a DSLR, but you’re just not sure about spending $2k on a better lens right now… what to do? Everyone in your office is doing the summer workout challenge. These are really good deals for professionals as well. Not ready to invest $10K in camera gear for the wedding you’re shooting next month for just $1K? You can rent all the cameras, lenses and lighting equipment you need, by the day, from Lumoid and the prices are surprisingly reasonable.

They have bundle packages where you can rent several personal fitness trackers at once so you can find out from personal experience which is the best one for you instead of just reading other people’s experiences and reviews.

You keep hearing about how super sharp Canon’s L type lenses are. But $2500 for a lens? You’ve got that trip planned for Labor Day weekend – why not rent the lens for $16/day plus $9 insurance and take it for a spin?  Lumoid also sells its used rentals and even new items at steep discounts.
